Yes, it’s one of my favorite days of the week mainly because it means well made it through another week! Woot! Good for us

By my calendar there seems to be 77 days left to Election Day and the Primaries are Tuesday. For the first time in history New London residents will be able to vote at….Ocean Beach? Huh? We closed a school we used to use for voting–and educating–now those people can vote at the beach. They’ve put some type of ‘measure’ in place to help ensure voters don’t have to pay $20.00 for the privilege of doing their civic duty. Still, if it’s a nice day, what’s to stop people from cruising in, not paying the $20.00 to park, and just staying for the rest of the day? I dunno but I kinda hope a few of ‘em pull it off for the rest of us. $20.00 to park is a little steep for any park.

It looks like Aunty Linda will get the nod again. This time I’m afraid she’ll win the general election. I don’t think either Chris Murphy or Susan Bysiewicz is strong enough to beat her. I haven’t seen a single ad for Chris Shays…not one! You’d think Aunty Linda was running unopposed in the Republican Primary. Kinda weird. In a perfect world, I’d like to see Aunty Linda go up against Susan Bysiewicz and have Susan trounce her. Yep, I’d like to see Aunty Linda get beat by a woman. I sure would. But, in the end, all I can do is not vote for Aunty Linda and hope others are smart enough to do the same.

Oh well, this part of Indecision 2012 will be over soon and that’s a good thing all by itself.

I have decided to restore two more galleries to the site; Classic Cars–I have a ton of those–and By the Sea–I have a ton of those too. Took some nice ones not too long ago. I think I’ll keep them free downloads in the smaller sizes. Getting the full-sizes to upload is not fun, I’ll probably have to take them down to 3/4 or even 1/2 size but they should still be good in 2000 x 1000 and I won’t eat up my remaining web space. Of course if I actually deleted the DOTG files from the site I’d have oodles of room! I haven’t been able to do it yet. They’re still there you just can’t access them that’s all.

BUT, after work, it’s supposed to be a stormy day so I think I’ll come home, grab my goodies and head upstairs for a while. I’ll get the laptop set up and open “Rising Son” but then I’m gonna lay down for at least 42 minutes and soak up some inspiration. I haven’t done that in a long time…too long probably. I try not to indulge, I really do. But the week has been hectic and I need a little ‘comfort time’. Have I thanked you yet, Karen???? LOL

Yep, I’m thinking that’s just what the doctor ordered. A nice long drool session! hahahaha

After that I’m darn near positive inspiration will return and hubby’s going to work on his bike this weekend so that should free me up nicely.
